Telebyte

Pillar two · managed security

The bitnobodynotices.

Enterprise-grade protection for firms with no IT department, at a fixed monthly cost per user. The same layered stack that protects Telebyte's own systems — because it protects the dialler that pays our wages.

01

Device lockdown and patching

Managed antivirus, enforced disk encryption, and patching that reports rather than hopes. Anything past end-of-life gets flagged before an assessor finds it.

02

Threats stopped before arrival

DNS and mail filtering that removes the majority of what reaches a small firm, so nobody has to spot a convincing invoice at half past four on a Friday.

03

Monitored detection and response

Endpoints watched around the clock, with a human deciding what matters. Alerts nobody reads are not a security control.

04

Cyber Essentials, prepared properly

The certificate is a few hundred pounds. The cost is having the five controls genuinely in place first — which is the work, and what this is for.

Asked often

We already have antivirus. Is this not the same thing?

Antivirus is one of five controls. The gaps that actually get firms breached are unpatched software, no multi-factor, and nobody watching. Those are the parts this covers.

Do we need Cyber Essentials to work with you?

No. But your clients increasingly do, and PI insurers ask at renewal. It is worth having before someone makes it a condition rather than after.

What happens when something does get through?

Somebody rings you. Containment first, explanation second, and a written account of what happened afterwards — not a ticket number.

One working day to a straight answer, and a plain one if the answer is that we are not the right people.
